Job Summary
Greet and assist patients as they enter the facility; collect documentation (ID, Medi-Cal information, co-payments, and other forms); provide documentation, notices, and schedule follow-ups when patients depart; serve as a hub of communication with Medi-Cal Assistants, PRC referrals, Insurance Verification Specialists, and providers; use Electronic Health Records (EHR) software to document notes and support back-office tasks; assist in messaging to Medical Assistants and Providers; handle cash for co-pays; perform other PSR duties as directed by the Director; primary assignment to Physical Therapy Sonora with potential multi-department rotation; schedule coordination and patient service duties in a busy healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 1-2 years direct experience in Healthcare, Dedicated Customer Service, Or in a Phone Bank.
