Patient Service Representative (PSR) - Paris View Family Practice

Greet patients and community members respectfully, answering internal and external calls while routing inquiries and scheduling appointments into the computer system. Process patients as they present for appointments, verifying demographics, obtaining insurance cards, and correcting registration errors. Transcribe orders, explain financial options, and assist with online scheduling and MyChart access. Troubleshoot problems to maintain patient flow, reconcile cash drawers, and calculate patient liabilities. Verify RX benefits in the electronic health record, obtain authorizations and pre-certifications, and refer patients to financial counselors when needed. Maintain accurate medical records, file charts per policy, and assist with obtaining referrals for follow-up services.
