Job Summary
Greet incoming customers, verify patient demographics and insurance information, and assist with form completion to meet regulatory and billing needs. Scan paperwork, educate patients on financial assistance, and proactively request and process payments for current and past services. Direct patients on next steps, inform them of delays and wait times, and promptly schedule appointments. Coordinate with care teams to ensure a seamless experience while supporting the administrative function of the clinic. Complete required training and pass-off requirements. This role supports MultiCare's Imaging Services team at Tacoma General Hospital, a 367-bed regional medical center.
Required Qualifications
- Six months of customer service experience
- Demonstrated basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- One year of customer service experience, in a hospital or medical office preferred
