Job Summary
Organize the office efficiently to maintain a steady flow of patients and manage daily scheduling for inpatients and outpatients. Check patients in, verify billing, and direct patient questions regarding registration and referrals. Complete secretarial tasks including filing, mail distribution, chart assembly, and inventory management for office supplies. Maintain medical files in an orderly fashion and assist in developing department forms. Train and supervise other office staff while acting as a resource person for unit-specific policies and procedures. Address day-to-day operational issues to support clinical and administrative needs in accordance with established protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- One-year previous experience in reception or secretarial position
