Patient Service Representative

Greet and check in patients, verify insurance eligibility, and collect co-pays while updating EHR records with cultural sensitivity. Schedule new and return visits, monitor provider schedules to fill cancellations, and coordinate walk-ins and urgent needs. Respond to phone calls and patient inquiries, conduct appointment confirmation calls, and manage patient portal enrollment. Document management includes scanning paperwork, filing documents, and mailing outpatient letters and Medicare Wellness Packets. Call no-shows to reschedule or offer warm handoffs to navigators.
