Job Summary
Greet, educate, and guide patients through the admission and check-in process; verify patient information and check-in for scheduled appointments; inform patients of insurance benefits and financial responsibilities; answer calls and direct them appropriately; schedule patient appointments; manage clinical schedules and assist clinical staff as needed; monitor account balances, payment plans, and collection reports; cross train with county patient services staff and cover county offices when requested; perform cash handling and daily reconciliation of cash drawer; other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in an office setting; Experience in Healthcare Customer Service preferred
- Certificate or Professional License: No Certificates or Professional License required
- Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance coverage
- Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record background checks
- Bilingual proficiency
