Job Summary
Greet patients and visitors while verifying their information, insurance coverage, and personal details. Collect co-pays and fees at the time of service, ensure referrals are in charts before arrival, and maintain accurate patient records. Count the cash box, complete reconciliation forms, sign off on the EBO report, and handle patient complaints professionally. Perform other administrative tasks as needed. This role supports CLS Health's mission to provide holistic, multispecialty care to Houstonians.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing preferred
