Job Summary
Warm Welcome and front-office support for patients; manage patient and business documentation, verify insurance, communicate payment policies, and support clinic workflow; ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance; travel to other University Hospitals Urgent Care locations as required; proficient with EMR/EPIC; 12-hour shifts with no overnights; healthcare environment emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus
- 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication, attention to detail, multitasking
- Experience using EMR software, EPIC preferred
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including some weekends and holidays
