Job Summary
Patient Service Representative responsible for first-point contact with patients, handling intake and care needs, greeting/check-in-out patients, and verifying information. Roles include scheduling appointments, registering patients, ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR, verifying insurance information, facilitating pre-certification/prior authorization and billing support, and maintaining high-quality patient experiences through courteous communication across phone, in-person, and secure messaging channels.
Required Qualifications
- Six months of customer service experience involving interactions with customers.
- Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
- Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.
- Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and Protected Health Information (PHI) of patients, members, and caregivers.
