Job Summary
Greet and check-in patients, verify information, schedule appointments, and update the EHR. Facilitate intake procedures including healthcare and insurance forms and collecting payments. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers while ensuring privacy and PHI protection. May orient other staff to the department. Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday (7:30am–4:45pm); full-time, non-exempt.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
- 1 year of recent relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
- Ability to interpret data and schedules
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Protect privacy of patient PHI
