Job Summary
Educate physicians and clinical staff on Breg's orthopedic bracing and supply program while demonstrating competency in fitting and using products. Accurately measure and fit patients with orthopedic soft goods and functional bracing, providing clear instructions on proper use and care. Coordinate product logistics, replenishment, and inventory transfers, proactively reducing stagnant inventory by processing expired or damaged items. Prepare and submit insurance billing documentation, review pending claims, and obtain pre-authorizations for workers compensation and commercial insurance patients. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues, ensure compliance with HIPAA and FDA regulations, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in a Healthcare-related field
- completion of an approved healthcare certification or certificate program
- equivalent combination of relevant education and hands on experience in orthotics, athletic training, sports medicine, durable medical equipment (DME), or patient care
- Holds and maintains applicable certification or licensure such as American Board Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), Board of Certification (BOC), Athletic Training licensure, Orthopaedic Technologist Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with standard workflows and procedures in orthopedic clinics or physician offices
- Knowledge of orthopedic bracing and supply products as well as the applicable procedures for utilization
