Patient Service Representative

Answer telephone inquiries, direct patients and visitors, and initiate triage slips for medical personnel. Register patients, verify records, and enter confidential personal and financial information into the computer system. Manage files, process record requests, and collect patient payments while reconciling daily cash reports. Detect and correct errors, complete forms, and maintain logs in compliance with federal and local privacy laws. Assist in coverage for other areas and perform other tasks as needed under the direction of the lead PSR.
