Job Summary
Serve as liaison between patients and medical support staff. Greet, instruct, and direct patients and visitors; enter patient demographics and insurance information; collect payments at check-in/out or during scheduling; schedule appointments for established and new patients; maintain a courteous and helpful environment; verify information, advise on financial obligations (co-payments, deductibles, insurance eligibility); keep lobby orderly; coordinate physician schedules; answer phones, take messages, and provide necessary information; manage mail and medical records with accuracy; support PMC mission by delivering high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
