Job Summary
Front office-focused Patient Service Representative for Family Medicine responsible for patient registration, pre-certification, charge capture, coding diagnoses, posting payments, and balancing day-end reports. Handles insurance claims, billing, and payments; greets patients, verifies insurance information, schedules appointments, and maintains patient charts and confidentiality. Performs cashiering, collects payments, assists with financial arrangements, and supports office operations, including coding and error resolution for outpatient services. Requires strong customer service, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve account issues. Emphasizes accurate data entry, chart preparation for visits, and adherence to clinic policies. Location: Forest Drive Facility, Forest Drive, United States of America.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Post-high school diploma
- No previous experience required
- Associate's Degree in technical specialty program (18 months minimum) - Preferred
- Basic understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding - Preferred
