Job Summary
The Patient Service Representative greets patients and manages intake, checks patients in/out, schedules and reschedules appointments, handles patient calls and reminders, assists with patient portal setup, verifies insurance coverage and patient eligibility, collects co-pays and payments, reconciles receipts, maintains accurate patient demographics and records in the EHR, and supports office operations including inventory and front-desk duties. Responsibilities also include ensuring documentation is clear in the EHR, assisting staff as needed, and providing support during crises as part of a collaborative behavioral health clinic team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience
- One year of medical front desk receptionist experience or administrative experience preferred
