Job Summary
Greet and acknowledge patients upon arrival or dismissal, responding to questions and concerns per policy. Answer telephones, schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain the appointment book. Register patients on sign-in sheets, post charges and payments to accounts, and follow up on no-shows or cancellations. Check voicemail daily and keep the waiting area clean and friendly. Support all staff members and the Office Manager with assigned projects and requests.
Required Qualifications
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
- Experience answering telephone
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office, preferred
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO), is a plus
