Job Summary
Greet and acknowledge patients upon arrival and dismissal, then respond to inquiries and concerns per office policies. Answer telephones, schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain the appointment book while following up on no-shows and cancellations. Register patients on sign-in sheets, post charges and payments to accounts, and check voicemail daily. Keep the waiting area clean and friendly. This role supports all staff and patients in a team-based environment focused on high-level patient care and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
- Experience answering telephone
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office, preferred
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO), is a plus
