Job Summary
Greet and acknowledge patients upon arrival or dismissal, responding to their questions and concerns according to policy. Answer telephones, schedule and confirm appointments, and maintain the appointment book while following up on no-shows or cancellations. Register patients on the sign-in sheet, post charges and payments to patient accounts, and check voicemail daily. Keep the waiting area clean and friendly. This role supports all staff members and patients within a team-based environment focused on personalized oral care.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a dental, medical, or other health-care office, preferred
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
- Experience answering telephone
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO), is a plus
