Job Summary
Greet patients and guests upon arrival, confirm identity, and provide visit-related information. Complete check-in and check-out functions, updating demographic and insurance data as needed. Collect co-payments, past due balances, and process billing information, including end-of-day cash drawer closing. Schedule appointments, obtain consents and authorizations, and inform patients of any status changes. Maintain a clean and comfortable waiting area. For Immediate Care Clinics, float to other departments as assigned. This full-time, 40-hour role includes required travel to the Huntley clinic and operates Monday through Friday, 8:30a-5:00p at the McHenry clinic.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Zero (0) to two (2) years' experience in a customer service position
- Must be able to travel to Huntley clinic
- Must be available Monday through Friday, 8:30a-5:00p
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
