Job Summary
Greet and register patients, verify insurance information through managed care websites, and answer incoming calls to take messages for providers. Schedule and reschedule appointments while checking and updating demographic data. Maintain charts and provide administrative support to the department, ensuring accurate information is provided to patients and their families. This role requires bilingual Spanish/English skills and experience with clerical functions in a healthcare setting. Full-time onsite positions are available in The Bronx with shifts from 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of experience with clerical/administrative functions
- experience in a health care setting
- Bilingual Spanish/English
- excellent communication skills

- Understanding of phone etiquette

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
