Job Summary
Patient Service Representative handles inbound calls from patients and providers regarding appointments and general inquiries, refers calls to providers, tracks and documents appointment details, and makes outbound calls to remind patients or coordinate care with patients, providers, and pharmacies. Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance while efficiently multi-tasking in a healthcare customer-service setting. Requires high school diploma or GED and strong communication skills; healthcare customer service experience is preferred.
