Job Summary
Full-time Patient Service Representative at Lumexa Imaging in Birmingham, AL. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm. Responsibilities include scheduling patients for diagnostic exams and procedures, assisting with authorizations and verifications, checking patients in/out, answering multiple phone lines, providing accurate information to billing, performing insurance verification, ensuring patient data accuracy in the system, and filing patient records. Must have customer-service focus and be able to handle heavy patient volume with strong computer skills and medical terminology knowledge. Required Qualifications
- 1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office Setting or Hospital
- Experience in Authorizations and Insurance Verification Preferred
- Ability to Handle Heavy Patient Volume
- Strong Customer Service and Computer Skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Medical Terminology Knowledge
