Patient Service Rep - Winthrop Family Medicine (Full-time)

Job Summary
PSR responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, clerical duties, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance benefits, determining payments (co-pays/deductibles), obtaining demographic/billing/clinical information for the registration system, and acting as liaison between patients, medical personnel, and laboratory teams. Requires proficiency with computer scheduling, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and independent work. Must be able to support clinical departments and maintain accurate records while delivering empathetic, community-focused service in a 40-hour daytime schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in customer service
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and support skills
- Ability to be flexible and shift priorities quickly
- Strong attention to detail
