Job Summary
Handles patient check-in/out, collects co-payments and payments, updates patient demographics/insurance, completes patient registration as needed, obtains consents/authorizations, posts payments and closes cash drawer, informs patients of delays or changes, and schedules appointments. For Immediate Care Clinics, may float to other ICCs/departments. Requires high school diploma or GED; 0–2 years customer service experience; preferred Bachelor’s degree and bilingual skills; knowledge of medical terminology; background check required.
