Job Summary
Manage and schedule referral appointments for patients, specialists, therapy, and diagnostic testing while verifying insurance coverage and obtaining authorizations. Process phone calls, mail, emails, and fax requests from patients, providers, and external organizations, then conduct follow-ups via phone or mail. Register patients for appointments, check them in and out, and enter or update data into system programs accurately. Collect and record payments, providing complete information to the billing office. Answer multiple phone lines and communicate messages to clinic staff. Requires a high school diploma, one year of experience, and strong customer service skills. Night and evening shift differentials apply.
