Job Summary
Coordinate patient flow and front-office operations for an orthopedic practice. Responsibilities include receiving and directing phone calls, documenting messages, scheduling patient appointments, collecting copays and payments, verifying demographic and insurance information, explaining insurance benefits, ensuring required forms are completed, registering new patients, updating records, coordinating referrals, and maintaining schedules and reminders. Requires strong communication, ability to multi-task in a busy clinical setting, familiarity with medical terminology, and proficiency with billing software.
