Job Summary
Greet and assist patients, make appointments, and maintain appointment records while performing routine administrative and clerical duties. Answer telephones, handle prior authorizations, and process patient billing forms. File materials, print schedules, and manage unit mail or faxes. Act as a "Super User" for scheduling, registration, and billing systems, providing assistance and training to others. Perform more complex functions such as surgical scheduling or schedule changes at an advanced competency level. Work onsite at Everett Health Center in a 36-hour day shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant [CMAA]
- 2-3 years office experience
