Patient Service and Revenue Manager (2275)

Job Summary

Oversee daily front office operations including check-in/out processes, patient registration, insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorizations to ensure clean claim generation and maximize revenue capture. Manage patient financial services by generating accurate estimates, collecting point-of-service payments, and resolving billing inquiries while serving as the primary liaison between the clinic and Revenue Cycle Management. Train and mentor staff on coverage, authorization requirements, and financial counseling policies to improve operational efficiency and reduce denials. Monitor key performance indicators such as clean claim rates and authorization completion to drive continuous improvement in patient access and revenue integrity.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Five or more years of experience in physician practice operations, revenue cycle, patient access, or medical office management
  • Strong understanding of Medical insurance plans
  • Strong understanding of Commercial and government payers
  • Strong understanding of Prior authorizations
  • Strong understanding of Referrals
  • Strong understanding of Medical terminology
  • Strong understanding of Patient financial counseling
  • Strong understanding of Revenue cycle operations
  • Strong understanding of Medical billing fundamentals
  • Strong understanding of Point-of-service collections
  • Strong understanding of Clean claim principles
  • Strong understanding of Practice management systems and electronic health records
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to resolve patient concerns professionally
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate across departments
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Equivalent healthcare leadership experience may be considered
  • Orthopedic practice experience preferred
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
