Job Summary
Manage patient registration, admission, and financial counseling by completing forms, entering data, and collecting payments including cash, checks, and charge cards. Obtain pre-authorizations from payers, communicate co-pays and deductibles, and balance cash drawers before and after each shift. Respond to patient and public inquiries via phone and in-person while maintaining confidentiality, and cross-train across all Patient Access functions. Troubleshoot system issues and assist with new hire training. Float across multiple clinics as needed.

- Associates degree
