Patient Scheduler - FT

Assist patients and the optometrist with appointment scheduling, billing procedures, out-of-pocket expenses, and transportation requests within a clinic setting. Serve as the patient and optometrist contact regarding scheduling needs, coordinate schedules with site management, and support billing processes and financial conversations. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, strong written and verbal communication, an pleasant, cooperative attitude, excellent organizational skills, multitasking ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a team to achieve clinic goals. Physical duties include sitting for extended periods, reaching/storing files, answering phones, acute hearing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and keyboard use.
