Job Summary
The Patient Scheduler 2 is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by coordinating the scheduling of complex exams and procedures in the UHealth system. The role involves managing high call volumes, verifying patient demographics and insurance information, and utilizing multiple scheduling software applications. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of relevant experience. Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work with confidential information are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
- Skill in data entry with minimal errors
- Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
