Job Summary
Patient Safety Program Consultant responsible for enterprise-wide patient safety activities and governance support. Designs, implements, and improves patient safety initiatives; partners with clinical, operational, and analytic teams; conducts clinical reviews, chart abstraction, medical record reviews, and evidence reviews to support patient safety; develops recommendations to improve interventions and outcomes; supports regulatory and accreditation activities; maintains documentation to meet standards; analyzes quantitative clinical data and presents results; works in a hybrid environment with in-office collaboration 1-2 days per week and flexibility for remote work; requires a BS in a health-related field and 3 years of relevant healthcare quality/patient safety experience.
Required Qualifications
- BS in health administration, nursing, public health, health informatics, clinical sciences, or a related clinical field
- 3 years of healthcare quality, patient safety, clinical review, medical record review, or data analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
