Job Summary
Leads and supports the development, implementation, assessment, and organization-wide compliance with patient safety program initiatives at EvergreenHealth, coordinating activities that sustain a culture of safety and proactive risk mitigation across the organization. Works collaboratively with staff and leadership to build a strong safety culture, stays current with patient safety priorities, communicates trends to responsible groups, assists with annual Patient Safety Culture Surveys and analysis, integrates findings with Risk Management and Patient Relations, maintains the Event Reporting System, prepares monthly/quarterly reports, and facilitates action plans with leaders to ensure follow-up. Requires a Bachelor's in Nursing or related field with 5 years of clinical experience and healthcare leadership, plus knowledge of project and change management, organizational facilitation, and effective communication and presentation skills. Preferred is a Master's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field
- 5 years of related clinical experience
- Leadership experience in healthcare setting
- Knowledge in and the ability to apply the principles of project management and change management
- Demonstrated organization, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of the complexities of the healthcare system
