Patient Safety Observer - NOT REMOTE DAY SHIFT

Patient Safety Observer performs continuous monitoring of patients to promote safety, including constant visual observation of multiple patients and monitoring for safety risks based on nurse-driven indications. Responsibilities include verbally redirecting patients with a digital 2-way audio device in patient rooms, notifying staff using proper etiquette and escalation protocols, confirming patient information, documenting all interactions with patients and clinical staff, and demonstrating proficiency with a variety of technology platforms. Additional duties involve reporting changes in patient behavior and escalating communications as necessary, providing ongoing exception reports for oncoming VSOs, and aligning with company core values while adhering to procedures and policies. The role requires healthcare exposure, familiarity with medical terminology, and the ability to operate within a clinical setting.
