Patient Safety Observer, Full Time

Patient Safety Observer provides supervision of patients at risk of injury or elopement in a hospital setting, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, reports behavior affecting patient safety to nursing staff, and performs tasks to prepare and assist patients with daily activities while upholding infection control and safety standards. The role requires assisting with positioning, feeding support, toileting, discharge processes, and adherence to OSHA/AHCA regulations, with shift options that include days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Strong communication, independence, and teamwork within a university-based health system are essential.
