Job Summary
Patient Safety Observer performs one-to-one observation of patients at risk of self-harm, requiring continuous visual monitoring within arm’s reach and immediate reporting to the RN. Responsibilities include accompanying patients to bathrooms or tests, maintaining patient dignity, avoiding unattended periods, monitoring for changes in behavior or suicidal ideation, and documenting safety checks. Requires ability to communicate in English, completion of high school or equivalent, and BLS certification by start of employment. Schedule is full-time, 36 hours with 12-hour day shifts (7a-7:30p) and every other weekend in Brighton, MA. Compensation range applies to hourly pay converted to annual values.
Required Qualifications

- BLS certification from American Heart Association by start of employment
