Job Summary
Provide one-to-one observation for patients at risk of injury under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering direct safety-focused care and communicating clearly with patients, families, and the care team. Requires current BLS within probation and completion of the Patient Monitoring Course upon hire. Preferably 1 year of experience in the human services field or related internships/placements; strong interpersonal skills, ability to build therapeutic relationships with patients and family members, and demonstrate professional communication, organization, and judgment. Job located at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital with Day & Night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS within a probationary period (90 days)
- Patient Monitoring Course must be completed upon hire
