Job Summary
Represent clients in certification review hearings and complaint resolution while investigating rights violations in licensed health facilities. Monitor facilities for regulatory compliance, notify clients of their legal rights, and assist them in navigating the mental health system. Provide training to providers on mental health laws, collaborate with courts and community partners, and maintain accurate case documentation. Uphold California Welfare & Institutions Code requirements and participate in agency training. This role requires a valid CA driver's license, willingness to travel up to 50% within Sacramento County, and a DOJ background check. Applicants with lived experience in mental health services are strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications

- Willingness to travel throughout Sacramento County (up to 50%)

- Lived experience in mental health services (as a consumer or family member)
- 1+ year of experience in customer support or mental health-related work
- Strong communication skills, assertive yet compassionate
- Knowledge of self-help philosophy and behavioral health systems
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with professionalism
- Strong organizational and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word)
