Job Summary
ABA Insurance & Billing Specialist responsible for verifying insurance benefits and securing prior authorizations for ABA therapy and related services delivered through the CentralReach platform. Key duties include generating patient invoices, processing payments and payment plans, addressing billing inquiries, communicating coverage details to providers, obtaining and tracking prior authorizations, and supporting standardized revenue-cycle workflows. Strong knowledge of insurance portals and payer policies, plus excellent written and verbal communication, are essential to successfully coordinate benefits, authorizations, and billing for ABA services. Hybrid work arrangement with offices in Fort Lauderdale, FL; Holmdel, NJ; and Verona, Italy.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in insurance verification and authorization (ABA, Speech, OT, PT experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and revenue cycle management
- Well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Confident and professional communicator, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated with a customer-focused mindset
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ABA billing and revenue cycle management is a plus
