Job Summary
Conduct 24-hour visual observation of patients and promptly respond to their needs and requests. Safely transport patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital while ensuring accurate tracking of assignments. Remove all personal items from patients, place them in red gowns, and adhere to Sitter Guidelines and Standards of Care. Report any behavior changes to the nurse immediately. Maintain continuous visual presence with patients at all times. Requires American Heart Association and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; high school general studies graduation required. Experience in healthcare preferred.
