Patient Representative - Federal Point - Full Time

Job Summary

Greet, acknowledge, and close customer needs professionally while checking patients in and out, managing samples, notes, forms, scripts, and triage sheets. Schedule, coordinate, and reschedule all patient appointments across offices, outpatient procedures, and hospitals by following eligibility verification, referral, and authorization processes. Answer incoming calls, direct patients to billing inquiries, and maintain provider and physician on-call schedules. Keep logs, attend required meetings, manage office supply inventory, and sort mail while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and department-specific reconciliation processes.

  • Follows appointment process for scheduling to include system reports (cancel/reschedule), Live Chat, and appointment request mailbox
  • Follow check out processes for appointments, referrals, tasking, communications, managed care and failsafe
  • Follows insurance process for all insurance data
  • Follows cashier process for collections, retail sales, and batching
  • Follows patient financial counselor process for billing inquiries and concerns
  • Follows all processes for reconciliation of internal communications
  • Follows HIPAA guidelines

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Medical Office Administration
  • BLS/CPR Certified
