Job Summary
Welcome and greet patients and visitors, directing them to appropriate departments. Complete pre-visit planning by validating insurance eligibility in eCW, verifying pharmacy information, and contacting patients to confirm attendance. Perform check-in and check-out processes, including scanning identification, collecting copayments, updating demographics, and scheduling follow-up appointments. Monitor schedules to minimize wait times, compile medical records, and protect patient confidentiality by securing protected health information. Address patient concerns, conduct post-visit surveys, and support team meetings. Rotate weekends, holidays, and shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 1-3 years in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, call center, or healthcare front desk)
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with scheduling, check-in/out, payments, or reservations
- Comfortable handling escalations and resolving issues with professionalism
- Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including related work experience

- Required - This position must be able to rotate weekends, holidays, shifts and center location according to company needs
- Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences)
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in customer service and the medical field preferred
- College or vocational training is preferred
- Relevant or any other job-related vocational coursework preferred
- Bilingual Spanish or Creole is preferred
