Job Summary
Patient Representative/Biller role at Duncan Regional Hospital focused on posting and reconciling patient and insurance payments, establishing payment plans, and following up on denials within the Home Care/Hospice revenue cycle. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in medical claims recovery and/or collections (preferred)
- Basic computer skills (email, navigate IT systems, use Electronic Health Record tools)
- Ability to read, interpret and apply policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills in English (oral and written)
- Familiarity with billing/collections rules and regulations (Medicare/Medicaid, commercial contracts)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Vaccinations as required by DRH policy
