Patient Rep-Phys Billing

Accurately register patient demographics, including insurance information and verification, and interpret third-party coverage for patients. Manage patient referrals, pre-certification, and authorization for professional and hospital billing while handling billing inquiries and collecting copayments. Reconcile daily copayments using the EPIC deposit tool and complete weekly cash deposits. Assist with charge entry, support the front desk with patient check-ins and phone answers, and serve as a resource for staff on all billing aspects. This role facilitates daily functions for the South Bay Cardio Physician Practice within Catholic Health, offering tuition assistance and a defined benefit pension plan.
