Job Summary
Engage with patients, referral sources, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery. Create, communicate, and obtain all required documentation for new referrals. Secure patients' upfront payment by assisting with payment avenues and directing them to financial assistance programs. Support ongoing activities to ensure clean claims through hold and denial management, including follow-up on missing paperwork. Assist the Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed. This role facilitates the transition of new patients to home and alternate site infusion services within Option Care Health's national network.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in related experience
- Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities at one time
- Ability to work in a fast past environment
- Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of quality focus
- High degree of customer service skills
- Ability to trouble shoot, problem solves and collaborate with cross-functional team members across sales and operation functions
Desired Qualifications
- Previous healthcare/medical billing experience
