Job Summary
Welcome and register patients by greeting visitors, distributing paperwork, and entering demographic and insurance information into the NextGen billing system. Verify insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, and process payments while enrolling patients in the TC Spine portal. Schedule follow-up appointments, coordinate interpreter services, and contact patients via phone for missing details. Work collaboratively with clinic staff to facilitate smooth clinic flow and answer patient questions before they leave. Travel to remote sites as business needs dictate, maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality throughout. Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality customer service to diverse patients.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to travel to remote clinics on a regular basis as business needs dictate
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast paced environment
- A team player with the ability to work independently
- Ability to professionally work with patients of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds
Desired Qualifications
- Patient registration in a medical setting preferred
- Previous medical insurance experience is beneficial
