Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check-in process by working across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently. Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced environment, navigating diverse insurance plans and coverage details while entering demographics and medical data. Build trust with patients during moments when they may be ill, anxious, or overwhelmed by answering questions with confidence, clarity, and compassion. Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow and minimize delays in registration.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly with high attention to detail
- Ability to shift priorities based on patient needs
Desired Qualifications
