Job Summary
Handle patient admissions by accurately entering demographic and financial information, collecting deductibles and co-pays at the time of service, and delivering a professional first impression. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, ROI, and evolving federal/state reimbursement requirements while coordinating with patients, physicians, and staff to facilitate admission and reimbursement. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from High School or equivalent required
- Previous health care experience preferred
- Excellent demonstrated customer service skills
- Significant PC Windows, Word and Excel skills required
- Proven Accurate data entry and 10-key skills required
- Excellent communications skills
- Proven ability to be an effective member of a work team
