Job Summary
Provide patient and external customer registration services, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays/deductibles/self-pay deposits, offer Sliding Fee Application to uninsured/underinsured, and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations. Role requires excellent customer service, strong organization, and proficiency with medical office software (e.g., McKesson, Microsoft Office). High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred; medical terminology preferred; 2-3 years of secretary/clerical medical office experience desired. Per diem, on-site registration at Canandaigua, NY location.
Required Qualifications
- Energetic individual with knowledge of customer service
- Secretarial experience with strong organizational skills
- Medical background recommended
- Computer knowledge including McKesson and Microsoft Office preferred
- Education: high school Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
- Medical terminology desired
- 2-3 years of secretary/clerical medical office experience desired
