Patient Registration Rep

Register patients in the EMR system by accurately capturing demographic and financial information to support clean claims and timely reimbursement. Provide exceptional customer service during encounters with patients, families, visitors, and OhioHealth physicians and associates. Perform registration functions across patient access areas, verify insurance eligibility, secure and track authorizations, and prepare regulatory documents. Enter and retrieve information using computer systems, assist with CPT code selection from clinical descriptions, generate patient estimates, collect out-of-pocket expenses and past balances, and assist with financial counseling and MyChart education. Support offsite registrations as needed, manage lobby areas and reception duties, train new associates, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization. This role requires High School or GED and 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting, with an every other weekend and holiday schedule.
